My Background
Katherine is a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) in the state of Louisiana. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health from Liberty University. Katherine has experience providing in-home counseling services to children and families, supporting clients with trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, anger, family conflict, and those involved in the child welfare system. She works with adults, teens, and families who have experienced challenges such as trauma, anxiety, depression, family separation, and stress.
Katherine approaches counseling from a trauma-informed and cognitive-behavioral perspective, believing that through a collaborative process, meaningful goals can be achieved. With a compassionate and understanding approach, she walks alongside her clients as they navigate difficult emotions and experiences. A Ruston native, Katherine is deeply committed to her community and to creating a safe, welcoming, and judgment-free space where healing and growth can take place.
