Jennifer is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Louisiana. She holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. Jennifer has worked with children, teens and adults for several years in private practice with The Dragonfly Harbor. She has experience serving survivors and community members. Jennifer has extensive experience with trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, anger, loss, and family crisis. Prior to her work with us, Jennifer worked as a DCFS Child Welfare Supervisor and also worked with Youth Transitioning Out of Care. She has 14+ years working with at-risk youth and their families. She has a heart for helping those who are struggling find healing and hope. She has expertise in finding resources for clients in need. Advocacy is close to her heart and she fiercely advocates for her clients wherever she can. You cannot find a better advocate than Jennifer Hadley.

 

Jennifer approaches counseling from a trauma-informed and cognitive-behavioral methodology. She helps clients identify and process through trauma and traumatic experiences. She also uses a collaborative process to address behavior, triggers, and improve quality of life for her clients. Jennifer works in the Hammond office seeing clients from all over the Baton Rouge and New Orleans areas and everywhere in between. She is available for telehealth appointments as well.
